Psalms of Praise to
The Lord
Exerts from the book of Psalms, Chapters 1-41
Your
love, O Lord, reaches to the heavens,
your faithfullness to the skies.
Your righteousness is like the mighty mountains,
your justice like the great deep.
In
the morning, O Lord, you hear my voice,
in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait in expectation.
You are my hiding place;
you will protect me from trouble
and surround me with songs of deliverence.
I sought you Lord, and you answered me;
you delivered me from all my fears.
Show
me your ways, O Lord, teach me your paths;
guide me in your truth and teach me,
for you are God my Savior,
and my hope is in you all day long.
From you comes the theme of my praise in the great assembly;
To you, O Lord, I lift up my soul;
I will declare your name to my brothers;
in the congregation I will praise you.
Future generations will be told about you, O Lord,
They proclaim your righteousness to a people yet unborn -
for you have done it.
You
turned my wailing into dancing;
you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy,
that my heart may sing to you and not be silent.
O Lord, my God, I will give you thanks forever.
Therefore I will praise you among the nations, O Lord,
I will sing praises to your name.
Be exalted, O Lord, in your strength;
we will sing and praise your might.
Sing to the Lord, you saints of his;
praise His holy name.
For His anger lasts only a moment,
but his favor lasts a lifetime.
Praise
be to the Lord from everlasting to everlasting.
Amen and Amen.
